David built InputRecovery to close a gap that cost Canadian businesses millions every year: recoverable indirect tax sitting unclaimed in AP ledgers, with no efficient way to find it. He assembled the partner network, built the detection platform, and brings it directly to the companies and firms who need it most.

He works closely with clients in construction, real estate, logistics, and mid-market companies with complex, multi-jurisdiction AP exposure — the segments where recovery is largest and the relationship with a trusted partner matters most.

Founding EngineerPlatform ArchitectureProductClient Delivery

Brian built the platform that powers every recovery — turning the Excise Tax Act and provincial tax legislation into a systematic process for finding what clients have overpaid across their full AP history. He brings experience from Amazon, where he worked at scale on AI and ML systems, to the problem of automated tax detection.

He works closely with clients and partner firms from initial scope through final delivery, making sure every finding is defensible before it goes to CRA. He also leads the build-out of self-service tools that let accounting and law firms run assessments independently — expanding the network without expanding the team.

FOUNDING TAX EXPERT
Andrew Adolph, CPA CGA — former CRA senior auditor

Founding Tax Subject Matter Expert

CPA CGA25 years CRAFormer Senior AuditorIndirect TaxGST / HSTAudit Defence

Andrew spent 25 years as a senior auditor at the Canada Revenue Agency — one of the longest tenures of any practitioner now in private practice. Most CRA auditors leave after one or two years; Andrew stayed long enough to build the kind of institutional knowledge that only comes from enforcing the same rules for decades.

After leaving CRA, he founded Gateway Tax Recovery to bring audit-quality indirect-tax review to businesses that couldn't access it. He now serves as InputRecovery's founding tax expert — reviewing every recovery file for CRA defensibility, validating detector logic against real audit scenarios, and signing off on filings.

His presence on a file is the answer to the question every CFO asks: "Is this actually safe to file?"
